Goldenrod Honey

Goldenrod (solidago) is known as a herb for kidney patients. Tasty and mild late summer honey, often with a menthol aftertaste, golden in colour and prone to crystallisation. The goldenrod bushes are the golden ornaments of summer along stream banks and forest edges. It is most common around Lake Balaton.
