Honeycomb is the honey found in the sealed wax cells of the hive. It is the most intact honey, as it does not come into contact with the air. The honeycomb is placed in the jar with the honey and then poured over pure acacia honey.
The honeycomb has its optimal consistency at about 35°C, so it is advisable to warm it up a little in a warmer place (e.g. near a radiator) before eating it. Caution. The wax melts after reaching 62°C!
It is also safe to swallow the wax, as it has no harmful effects on the body.
